Packer boys blow past Waseca

The Austin boys basketball team came back from the winter break with a 58-33 win over Waseca (4-6 overall) in Packer Gym Tuesday.

The Packers (5-2 overall) forced 26 turnovers as they led by double digits throughout the second half.

“We tried a lot of different things tonight and we gave some new defensive looks and ran some different sets,” Austin head coach Kris Fadness said.

Austin has now beaten three teams from Section 1A by at least 16 points.
