The Austin boys basketball team beat Rochester John Marshall (3-10 overall, 2-6 Big Nine) 79-59 in Rochester Friday.

Joe Aase hit a pair of threes as he scored eight points during a 12-0 run by the Packers (10-3 overall, 7-1 Big Nine) to close the first half.

“It was a good road win and we played under control,” Austin head coach Kris Fadness said. “We were able to get to the basket and get some lay-ups.”
