The Austin girls hockey team was shutout for the second time during its six-game losing streak as it fell 5-0 at Northfield (8-10-1 overall) Monday.

The Packers (7-13 overall) were off the mark on all 25 of their shots and Northfield, which scored two shorthanded goals, took a 4-0 lead into the third period.

“We just came out flat and we didn’t start skating hard until they had four goals,” Austin head coach Denny Bray said.

Allison Hoban had 31 saves for Austin.
