The Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team found a way to beat Lanesboro (5-5 overall, 5-3 SEC) by a score of 56-39 on the road Tuesday.
The Athletics (5-3 overall, 5-2 SEC) struggled with their shot, but were able to hold the Burros to 10 points in the first half.
“We really didn’t play our best basketball but the girls found a way to win,” L-P head coach Brad Walter said. “We scrapped and found ways to score buckets when we weren’t shooting well and Ann Rysavy gave us a big boost with her hustle.”
Rysavy scored 18 points, Courtney Walter added 18 points and Sarah Holtz had seven points and 10 rebounds for the Athletics.
