The Hayfield boys basketball team came up with a big response to beat Stewartville (3-9 overall, 0-3 HVL Gold) 51-36 on the road Friday.

The Tigers used a 15-4 run to pull within 32-31 with 12:30 left in the game, but the Vikings (11-4 overall, 5-1 HVL Gold) responded with a 19-2 run of their own over the next eight minutes.
