Austin Nelson scored his fourth goal in two days as the Austin Bruins knocked off Coulee Region (11-17-4 overall) 5-2 Saturday in Riverside Arena.

Nelson, a forward from Hastings, Minn., scored in the first to make it 1-0 and he added another goal in the second to make it 4-1.

Austin grad John Kirby also scored two goals in the win for the Bruins (18-10-3 overall).

Austin drew an attendance of 1,674 fans for the New Year’s Eve game.
