Austin man charged with selling cocaine to informant

An Austin man was criminally charged Wednesday with four counts of cocaine sales and one count of drug possession.
Anthony Bynum, 46, faces five felonies, including second-degree drug sales, third-degree drug possession and three counts of third-degree drug sales.
According to a court complaint, Bynum allegedly sold cocaine three times in October 2010 to a confidential informant for the Austin Police Department.
When police searched Bynum’s residence in northeast Austin, they seized 3.4 grams of cocaine and 10 grams of marijuana, according to court documents.
Bynum has at least four drug-related convictions since 1999. He is scheduled to make his plea Jan. 26.
