The three women who were removed from Lyle Public School Board’s November meeting will not be charged for disorderly conduct, according to the Freeborn County Attorney’s office.

Mower County Sheriff’s deputies removed Tammy Whalen, Connie Branchaud and Sandra King from the meeting after board chairman Dean Rohne asked Branchaud to leave. Whalen and King sat down on the floor with Branchaud, though they were never asked to leave.

The charges were reviewed and declined, Freeborn County officials said.
