The Spay/Neuter Mobile is back.
The Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program will be at the Mower County Humane Society starting at 8 a.m. this Saturday to help lower-middle class residents spay or neuter their pets. Residents who have an annual income of less than $40,000 per household or are part of a needs-based public assistance program are eligible.
The cost of neutering male cats or rabbits is $40, $50 for female cats or rabbits, $60 for dogs, and $70 for dogs that weigh more than 50 pounds. Vaccinations can also be requested.
The Spay/Neuter Mobile will be in the area until all pets that are registered are done with surgeries.
