Police recovered yet another stolen car Thursday, according to Police Chief Brian Krueger.

The 2003 black Ford Ranger was reported stolen around 6:20 a.m. Thursday morning, and the 48-year-old owner said it was taken between 5 a.m. and the time of the report.

It was taken from the 1000 block of 14th Street NW, and the keys had been left inside. However, the owner said he thought the car was locked.

The vehicle was recovered around 2:40 p.m. in the 1500 block of Ninth Street NW, Krueger said. There was no damage to the vehicle, and it was found unlocked with no keys.
