Packer dance team takes second in high kick at Lakeville

The Austin Packer dance team took second in Class ‘AA’ out of nine teams and fourth in jazz out of eight teams at the Lakeville North Holiday Classic Saturday.
Sartell-St. Stephens, the defending state champs, took first in the high kick and jazz.
“As coaches, we were very happy to see improvement in our scores from the previous competition,” Austin head coach Jen Sims said. “It means we’re headed in the right direction.”
The dance team will compete Saturday, Dec. 17.
