The Grand Meadow boys basketball team overcame a 10-point deficit to beat Schaeffer Academy (2-2 overall, 2-1 SEC) 62-60 in GM Thursday.
Andrew Riedemann poured in 22 points and Collin Jacobson added 19 points and seven rebounds for the Superlarks (2-1 overall, 2-1 SEC).
“Riedemann shot the ball pretty well and Collin did a nice job of getting us into our offense and looked for his shots at the right times,” GM head coach Chad Burmester said.
Schaeffer got to the free throw line 22 times in the first half, but just twice in the second half.
“We did a much better job defensively of moving our feet and not reaching in the second half,” Burmester said.
GM scoring: Andrew Riedmann, 22; Collin Jacobson, 19; Bryce Benson, 7; Dezmon Johnson, 6; Trenton Bleifus, 2; Landon Jacobson, 2
