The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team opened its season with a dominating 74-22 win over Alden-Conger (0-1 overall) in Alden Tuesday.

Junior Michael Thomas finished with 19 points, nine rebounds, six steals and three assists, and freshman John Rumpza had 22 points and 10 rebounds in the win for the Awesome Blossoms (1-0 overall).
