With the Nov. 8 election a week away, there is still plenty of time to register to vote.

Eligible voters living in Mower County can register at the Mower County Auditor/Treasurer’s office (201 First St. NE) in Austin between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Friday this week and on Monday, Nov. 7.

The office also will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 (enter from the west).

Residents can also register on Election Day. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. To register, residents should bring a Minnesota Driver’s License or ID, or an outdated ID or Driver’s License along with a utility bill.
