The Riverland women’s basketball team led big early as it topped St. Cloud Tech. 74-31 in Riverland Gym Tuesday.

The Blue Devils (5-2 overall) led 40-6 at the half and Cassie Masberg led RCC with 16 points.

RCC sophomore forward Bridget Bergstrom, a Marshall, Minn. grad, was recently named MCAC Southern Division player of the week.

Bergstrom scored 19 points while shooting 80 percent from the field and she grabbed 11 rebounds in a road win over Fond du Lac last week.
