Although they may seem rather simple, unique wind chimes come in a large variety of musical tunings, decorations and sizes all ensuring that you find the right one for your individual needs.

Glass Chimes are typically handmade with stained or decorative glass, due to the fact of their ornamental nature most glass wind chimes are one of a sort. They sound in tune like spiral chimes and what they offer is a beautiful gentle sound and a good deal of decoration.

Wind chimes can be as different as your personality. If you like wind chimes, now is your opportunity to custom make your own. On Wednesday, Jeff Peterson will be here with many options for glass and patterns. He will walk you through cutting out your own glass wind chime and putting it together. Following the class he will take them to his kiln to be fired.

The next Wednesday, Oct. 19, he will bring them back for you to string your chimes on the bottom.

The price will vary based on the size of wind chime you choose to make. There are sample wind chimes hanging at the senior center above the fire place in the lobby. If you would like to sign up for this fun and exciting class call the front desk at 433-2370 extension 0. Class size is limited to allow personal instruction. Sign up today.
