ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. — The search for a gunman who fatally shot a woman in St. Louis Park ended Monday night when the man was found dead of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police say a confrontation took place between the woman and her estranged husband in the parking lot of an office building in St. Louis Park. Investigators say he shot her multiple times and fled. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

KARE-TV says Minneapolis officers found the man’s body about two hours later.
