Bruins top Minot on the road

The Austin Bruins completed a weekend sweep of Minot (1-9 overall) when they won 3-1 on the road Saturday.

Colton Kramer scored in the first period to tie the game up and Grant Williams opened the second period with an early goal that put the Bruins (4-2-1 overall) up for good.

Brandon Wahlin of White Bear Lake, Minn. netted his sixth goal of the season to make it a 3-1 game on a powerplay with 8:25 left in the second period.

Nicholas Lehr of Roseville, Minn. picked up the win in net for the Bruins as he stopped 26 of 27 shots.
