RCC trailed 1-0 at the half after having the wind at its back. The Blue Devils had just seven shots on net, while USM had five shots on goal against the wind — four of which Roberto Tores stopped. Tores finished with 10 saves.
Erich Lusch had a hat trick for USM as he scored in the 20th, 55th and the 86th minute.
Pedro Herrera fired six shots for RCC, with five of them being saved.
The Blue Devils (9-5 overall) have lost two matches to St. Mary’s this season.
RCC will close out its regular season when it hosts Crossroads College next Wednesday at Wescott Athletic Complex at 4 p.m.
Since they are still a club team, the Blue Devils will not participate in the postseason this year.
