The Blooming Prairie volleyball team took second place at the eight-team LeRoy tournament after it lost to Fillmore Central in the title match by scores of 25-16, 25-22 Saturday.

In pool play, BP (14-9 overall) beat Rushford/Peterson 25-23, 23-25, 15-8, topped Alden/Conger 25-15, 25-14, beat Hope Lutheran 25-11, 25-13 and beat Grand Meadow 28-26, 15-4.

LeRoy/Ostrander (12-5 overall) took fourth place after losing its last match to R/P 21-25, 25-17, 15-10.

GM (7-12 overall) took seventh place after beating Glenville/Emmons 25-17, 25-18 in its last match.
