Grand Meadow grad Caleb Leichtnam picked off two more passes for Rochester Community and Technical College as it beat Fergus Falls 55-17.

Leichtnam already has a school record of 15 interceptions for the Yellowjackets (7-0 overall) and he leads the NJCAA in that category.

Blooming Prairie grad Elliott Herdina hauled in three passes for 45 yards and a score as Gustavus (1-4 overall) topped Hamline 37-0.

On the season, Herdina is second on Gustavus with 17 catches for 226 yards.

SOCCER

Martin Manocchio, a 2010 Austin grad, is the second leading scorer in his sophomore season at Bethel College.

Manocchio has three goals and one assist on just 19 shots. He has one game-winning goal for Bethel (7-3-2 overall).

Laine Hicks, a 2010 Austin grad, has played in 12 games and attempted one shot as a sophomore at University of North Carolina Wesleyan (1-11 overall).

VOLLEYBALL

LeRoy/Ostrander grad Kaylee Bunne is averaging 1.15 kills per set (82 total) with an attack percentage of 22.1 at St. Mary’s University (13-9 overall).

Bunne is averaging .62 digs (44) and .45 blocks per set. She is second on the team with her 32 blocks.

Hayfield grad Molly Streightiff has worked her way into the lineup as a freshman at UW-River Falls (9-12 overall).

She has 25 kills, 15 set assists and 10 digs in 34 sets played.

GOLF

Austin grad Catherine Wagner continues to lead University Wisconsin Eau Claire as she took second place with a score of 239 at the WIAC meet in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.

Wagner, a junior at UW-EC, finished one stroke out of first place.
