Support at Packer football excellent

Dear Austin Community
We are writing to thank you for all your support for the Austin High School Homecoming game Friday Sept., 23.
You who were there brought something special back to the community, something that has not been seen for several years, and that is the common bond and spirit we all share as fans of the Austin Packer football team.
Football is a tradition in Austin. In fact, we don’t believe you can beat a game on a Friday night at Wescott Field, but as we all know, in recent years this tradition seems to have been passed over.
Friday night that all changed for the better. We as the Austin High School football team/family would like to thank you all for everything you have done for us and especially for being there when we needed you most with your positive enthusiasm, and cheers that seemed to echo back to the days when Hastings and Haas roamed the sidelines at our hallowed stadium. You must know how you the community of Austin is considered part of our football family.
Our team will continue to show our work ethic day in and day out, improve, and show what it truly means to be an Austin Packer, and always “Fight! Fight! Fight! For Old Austin High!”
Thank You,
Captains Ryan Larson, Anthony Condit, Alix Novak
