The Grand Meadow volleyball team picked up its first win of the season when it took fourth place at the Waterville Invite Saturday.

The Superlarks (2-8 overall) beat Glenville/Emmons in two games and beat St. Clair in three games, and they lost to Waterville/Elysian/Morristown in two games and fell to LeCenter in two games.

“We really passed the ball well and it opened up options for our offense,” GM head coach Michael Keefe said. “We used all of our hitters and we got scrappy on defense. We made digs, that we weren’t making earlier this year.”
