The Riverland volleyball team lost its first three matches at the Rochester Invite Friday.

The Blue Devils (0-8 overall) fell to Dakota County 25-13, 25-15, lost to Ellsworth 25-7, 25-5 and fell to Hibbing 25-11, 25-16.

“Was a hard day with only six girls,” RCC head coach Sara Heim said. “We definitely improved throughout the day. The key was focusing on each position since we were all mixed up. It was a learning experience.”
