The intersection of Fourth Avenue NE and North Main Street will be closed until mid-October, according to City Engineer Jon Erichson.

The construction is the last phase in a three-phase North Main Street project. Workers have been installing new storm sewers, water mains, electrical upgrades and a new road, Erichson said.

The intersection, located in front of Wells Fargo and Brick Furniture was closed Wednesday.

Erichson said Hormel Drive — which is closed as part of another construction project — will be opening again Saturday, Sept. 10.
