Bruins lose 7-6 in OT

The Austin Bruins dropped a 7-6 overtime thriller against the Michigan Warriors in Blaine Friday.

Michigan won the game when Alec White scored an unassisted goal three minutes into the extra period.

The Bruins (1-2 overall) had led 5-2 after three periods, but Michigan poured in four goals in the third — including two in the last eight minutes. Joseph Ferris tied the game up with 3:10 left.

Riley Colvard, Jonathan Gehrt, Brandon Wahlin, CJ Smith, Christian Folin and John Kirby all scored for Austin.

Garrett Patrick took the loss for Austin as he had 27 saves in net.
