Jenna Petersen, daughter of Susan and Robert Petersen of Austin, and Matthew Talmadge, son of Kim and Glen Talmadge of Frederick, Wis., are proud to announce their engagement.

Jenna is a 2006 Austin High School graduate and a 2007 graduate of Riverland Community College. She works at the Mayo Clinic.

Matthew is a 2003 graduate of Frederick High School and a 2007 graduate of Wheaton College. He works at Gerard academy.

The couple will unite in marriage Sept. 4, 2011, at the Paramount Theatre in Austin.
