Driver injured in rollover

ROSE CREEK — An Adams area man was taken to Mayo Health System-Austin Saturday after rolling his truck on County Road 4 about a mile east of Rose Creek.

The green Chevy pickup was driving east around 4 p.m. when it went in the southern ditch and flipped after driving back on the road.

The truck landed upside down on the road, spewing glass and the man’s personal belongings.

The man sustained cuts, but didn’t appear to have any life-threatening injuries or broken bones, according to Rose Creek Fire Chief Fred Ulven.

Mayo 1 landed on scene, but only as a precaution.
