Tim Duren nets 20th golf championship

Tim Duren won his 20th career Austin Country Club Championship this past weekend.
Duren netted a score of 107 in 27 holes, which put him at one under for the tournament.
Troy Gilbert was second with a score of 112.
Dave Pilot won the senior championship (50 and older) with an 18-hole score of 81 and Jim Weber won the super senior championship (60 and older) with an 18-hole score of 81.
Brian Helland was second in the super seniors with an 82.
Jim Krueger won the first flight with an 18-hole score of 76 and Ken Christianson was second with a 77.
Brian Koser and Joel Buttshaw each shot an 86 in the second flight, but Koser won a one-hole playoff to take the title.
Brian Schneider shot an 82 to win the third flight and Craig Johnson was second with an 89.
In women’s play, which was held last week, Cindy Fuhrman had the top 18-hole score with a 92. Judy Juncker shot a 96 for second place.
Jane Rysavy had the low-net score with a 72.
In the nine-hole division, Nordean Fox shot a 61 for first place and Sue Mann had the low net with a 37.
