On Thursday, July 21, Ole Oleson, impersonated by Roger Hellesvig, will be making an appearance at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center.

Ole, a Norwegian Living History Interpreter, will be performing for the Nature Center’s weekly Summer Senior Specials. Humorous, hands on, and historically accurate, Ole presents to the audience the life of a Norwegian immigrant in the 19 century. This special one hour program will begin at 1:30 p.m. and is followed by trail rides in our Nature Center Access Vehicles at 2:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Reservations are required for the tours and space is limited. Each tour is 45 minutes in length and consists of a guided tour by seasoned tour guides. If attending the Summer Senior Specials, one must be 55 or older. For more information please contact the Nature Center at 507-437-7519 or at jchnatur@smig.net. All of us at the Nature Center (and of course Ole) look forward to seeing you at this special presentation.
