Austin’s missing person has been found.

The sister of Frank Towers, 33, called off the missing person’s alert after finding him Friday. There was no word on where Towers was found.

Towers’ sister told police Thursday she hadn’t seen or heard from him since July 23. She said his cell phone would go straight to voicemail when she called.

Officers checked Towers’ apartment twice Thursday and he was not there. His bike was also missing.

Missing persons aren’t common in Austin, according to Police Chief Brian Krueger.
