The Austin Just for Kix Youth Camp took place at Oak Park Mall June 23-25.

The show took place on the last day of camp at Austin High School. One hundred thirteen dancers attended, ages ranging from kindergarten to 10th grade.

Awards given out include “firecracker,” for dancers who possess “spunk and pizzazz,” the “most outstanding dancer,” for dancers who possess great technique, and the “Heather Star Habeck Award,” the most prestigious award.

The Heather Star Habeck Award is given at each camp in memory of Heather Habeck, a Just for Kix staff member who died in a car crash.
