There will be tryouts for the Austin Area VFW Post 1216 baseball team 6 p.m. each evening at Marcusen Park from June 6 through 9.

Any boys entering ninth through 11th grade are welcome to attend. This region includes Austin Public Schools, Pacelli, Blooming Prairie, Hayfield, Lyle and Southland. The game schedule will begin the following week, with the majority of games played Mondays and Wednesdays.
