The Mower County Republican Party is holding its first ever Lincoln-Reagan Picnic next Thursday.

The picnic is an opportunity to hear conservative leaders in the area and state and to get together with like-minded residents of Mower County.

Scheduled speakers include, Rep. Rich Murray (27A), and Rep. John Kriesel (57A), Iraq war veteran and author of “Still Standing.”

The picnic will be held at 6 p.m. at the Veteran’s Pavilion in Austin. Order tickets by e-mailing gopmower@gmail.com. Tickets are $20 for single adult, $30 for couple and $5 for single child.
