ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — St. Paul police are trying to find where a mystery headstone belongs.

A passer-by found the headstone Sunday near caves in St. Paul. Police don’t know where the headstone came from, and they’re trying to get it back where it belongs.

The headstone reads “Marie Olsen, 1879-1932” but nothing else. Police spokesman Officer John Keating says police were unable to match the information to state birth and death records,

Keating said that police want to make sure the headstone “gets back to its rightful place.”

Anyone with information about the grave marker is asked to call St. Paul police.
