Austin Public Schools, in partnership with Austin Park and Recreation and AmeriCorps, is offering a free playground program this summer.

The program is offered Mondays 1-3 p.m. at Bandshell Park and Thursdays from Thursdays at Lions Park at the same time. The program is free and open to any child that would like to attend.

Another free program is the library story time on Tuesday and Thursday nights. This free story time is led by AmeriCorps volunteers working for Austin Public Schools this summer. The story time is offered at the Austin Public Library from 6 to 7 p.m. and is open to all ages.
