The Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau announces that the MS TRAM (The Ride Across Minnesota) will be riding into Austin this summer.

On Tuesday, July 26, 900 to 1,000 bicycle riders will be coming to see all that Austin has to offer. They will come with 200 to 300 family, friends and MS Society organizers, as well.

This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for MS and Austin wants to do everything possible to make it great. Lots of volunteers will be needed to accommodate this event. The next organizational meeting for this community event is set for Tuesday, July 12, at 3:30 p.m., at the Mower County Senior Center.

Volunteers are needed to run the information area, provide bike security, unload luggage from the truck, form a welcoming line, as well as numerous other tasks.

P.S. — the public is invited to come out to Todd Park on Tuesday, July 26 from 3 to 9:30 pm to listen to the wonderful free entertainment that is lined up! Ride your bikes out to the park! Donations will be accepted then for the MS Cause.
