Funeral notice: Ardel James Gorman, 71

Ardel James Gorman, 71, of Austin, died Friday, June 24, 2011, at Sacred Heart Care Center.

Service: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Joe Fogal officiating.

Visitation: There will be a 6:30 p.m. wake service on Wednesday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. and also one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.

Interment: Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 91.

Funeral Home: Mayer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
