How would you
like to win a quilt?
Artists from the Austin Area Art Center have compiled their original art to construct a one of a kind art quilt. The theme for this year’s quilt is animals. The art pieces have been photographed and copied onto fabric by Mary Gentle to make the blocks for this creation, which measures 72 1/2 by 92 inches. This fundraiser has proven to be a huge success in the past and with continued support, will be again this year.
The quilt will be on display at the Austin Area Art Center, Oak Park Mall until the drawing on Sept. 11.
Raffle tickets will be sold for $5 and are available at the Austin Area Art Center or from any Art Center member. Regular gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
