The Southland baseball team saw a four-run lead disapear in the seventh inning as Wabasha/Kellogg (8-2 overall) scored five times in that frame to beat the Rebels 7-6 in Wabasha Tuesday.

Southland (8-3 overall) led big early but its three errors were costly.

“For the last week, we’ve been making too many mental mistakes,” Southland head coach Scott Retterath said. “It was actaully a game of who didn’t want to win in it the worst, but (W/K) took advantage and they hit the ball pretty well.”
