The Austin girls track and field team took second at a home triangular meet at Larry Gilbertson Track and Field Tuesday.

“Despite cool temperatures, we had a lot of personal bests,” Austin head coach Nancy Jones said. “I was very happy with how the athletes competed today and we’re seeing a lot of great things from our younger athletes.”

Austin sophomore Abby Snater broke her own school record, which she set as a freshman, in the pole vault as she took first with a height of 10 feet, six inches.
