The Lyle/Pacelli boys took fifth and the girls took second at the five-team SEC golf invite in Adams Friday.

The girls scored a 472, while Lanesboro won the meet, which was played through driving rains at times, with a 377.

“The girls fought through the elements and it was tough conditions,” L/P head coach Mark Buntje said.

Jennie Marx and Abby Leif made the All-SEC team for L/P and Maggie Leif was honorable mention.

The L/P boys finished with a score of 415. Lanesboro was first with a 327 and Grand Meadow/LeRoy/Ostrander was third with a 403.

Max Brennan was named All-SEC honorable mention.
