Locals graduate, receive honors

Austin natives graduate from St. John’s

Four local students participated in the commencement ceremony at Saint John’s University on Sunday, May 15, in the Saint John’s Abbey Church, Collegeville, Minn.

—Benjamin Bartemes, son of Paul and Kathy Bartemes of Austin, participated in the commencement ceremony at SJU. Bartemes is a candidate to receive a bachelor of arts degree in theater.

—Zach Madson, son of Wayne and Lisa Madson of Austin, participated in the commencement ceremony at SJU. Madson is a candidate to receive a bachelor of arts degree in political science.

—Nicholas Stackenwalt, son of Mike and Marie Stackenwalt of Austin, participated in the commencement ceremony at SJU. Stackenwalt is a candidate to receive a bachelor of arts degree in management.

—Ryan L. Urlick, son of James and Patricia Urlick of Austin, participated in the commencement ceremony at SJU. Urlick is a candidate to receive a bachelor of arts degree in accounting with the honor cum laude.

Whalen graduates from Central Lakes

Phillip Whalen, of LeRoy, graduated from Central Lakes College with a Diploma of Occupational Proficiency, Heavy Equipment Operation and Maintenance, Honors.

Nangle graduates from U of Kansas

Chad Michael Nangle, of Austin, graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master of Science/Business degree, Business MS.

Locals graduate from St. Cloud State

The following students graduated from St. Cloud State University this spring:
