A $250,000 hog barn burned down in rural LeRoy Monday afternoon.

Sheriff Terese Amazi said the building, one of seven at Holly Hock Farm, was a complete loss. There were no hogs inside any of the buildings at the time.

The farm is located at 10361 State Hwy. 56 in rural LeRoy, and Robert Baarsch of Spring Valley owns the hog operation.

The other six buildings were untouched by the fire, Amazi said.

The cause is still unknown.
