Fourth Street NW to close; I-90 road work may affect traffic

Road construction will resume on Fourth Street NW Tuesday, May 10.

The road — also known as County Road 45 — will be closed to traffic from the intersection of County Road 25 (236th St) to U.S. Highway 218. Construction begins at the County Road 25 intersection and move north toward Highway 218 in two phases. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained during the construction.

Crews with the Minnesota Department of Transportation are set to make minor pavement repairs starting Monday. Motorists can expect brief lane closures on various highways in Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Wabasha and Winona counties beginning Monday, May 16. Flaggers will control traffic during the lane closures.

• Highway 56 in Dodge County

• Highway 30 in Dodge and Freeborn counties

• Highway 43 in Fillmore County

• Highway 52 in Fillmore County

• Highway 250 in Fillmore County

• Highway 60 in Goodhue County

• Interstate 90 in Mower, •Olmsted and Winona counties

• Interstate 35 in Rice County

• Highway 61 in Wabasha and Winona counties
