City Engineer Jon Erichson said the intersection of North Main Street and Fourth Avenue will reopen next week sometime.

Erichson said the sanitary sewer force main is being realigned in anticipation of the North Main flood mitigation project.

The city’s goal is to reopen the intersection by the end of Tuesday.

Construction in the alley between the swimming pool and Brick’s Furniture is scheduled to begin June 10.
