Council discuss Dobbins Creek sewer project

City Council members will meet Monday night at City Hall to approve plans and order advertisement for bids for the Dobbins Creek sanitary sewer improvement.
The sewer project will only directly impact one property at this point, City Engineer Jon Erichson said. However, a handful of other undeveloped properties will have access to the sewer once houses are built.
Three other homes outside of Austin city limits could have access to the sewer if they are annexed into the city, Erichson said. If that happens, the home owners will be assessed for the cost of the project at that time.
Council members will be voting on a number of routine items, as well, including the “removal of junk” from some properties in town.
The meeting is at 5:30 Monday night in Council Chambers.
