The Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau will be presenting the fourth annual “Austin’s Tourism Toplist” award to the Austin Bruins in a ceremony on Monday, May 9 at 2 p.m. at Riverside Arena.

Each year, this award goes to the person, place, thing, event or group that was most responsible for increasing tourism to the area in the prior year.

Previous Toplist award winners the Hormel Historic Home in 2010 for the addition of its Banquet Center, The Hormel Institute in 2009 for its facility expansion, and the Austin Public Library in 2008 for its first Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit.
