Hormel Foods Corp. is doing its part to help the victims of Wednesday’s tornadoes.

The company announced a donation of three semi-trailers of Hormel Compleats microwave meals — about 165,000 meals — to Feeding America food banks for relief efforts in Alabama and the southeastern United States after the April 27 tornados.

“We extend our condolences to everyone who has been affected by this devastation,” Hormel CEO Jeffrey Ettingerin a news release. “As relief efforts begin, we hope these meals will provide a source of nourishment.”
