Twenty-five Farm Bureau members from across Minnesota met with their members of Congress in Washington, D.C. during the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation trip, April 3-7. Gayle Bergstrom of Adams, Minn., was a member of the delegation.

Farm Bureau members met with American Farm Bureau Federation staff and received a briefing on current issues. Participants met with Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken and members of Congress Collin Peterson, Michele Bachmann, Chip Craavack, Erik Paulsen, Tim Walz and a representative from Chairman John Kline’s office.

“I thought it was a very valuable experience to be able to meet with elected officials and visit the Trade Office and the Embassy of Columbia,” said Bergstrom.
